1. What should I expect at MaricopaCon 2025?
Lots of fun with 400+ new friends, over 200 scheduled game events, Artemis, Open Gaming, Raffles, Standup Arcades, and Paint & Take.
2. What should I bring to MaricopaCon 2025?
Your favorite card game and board game, dice, and your coolest gaming attire.
3. What should I not bring to the convention?
Weapons or Drugs (booze you bring must be kept in your hotel room)
4. May anyone be a GM, and how do you qualify/sign up?
Anyone can GM in the Open Gaming area or you can let Jason or Nessa know if you want a game scheduled on Tabletop.Events. Please submit your game events by July 21st.
5. Are you able to come and go as you please?
Absolutely! Once you have your badge you can come and go as you please (just don't lose your badge please!)
The Open Gaming area is open 24/7 and there is a Happy Hour at the bar every night.
6. Are there open tables for gaming or do you have to GM a game?
There are 4-5 Open Gaming tables in the Foyer and 33 tables in the Main Hall (tables in the Main Hall are mostly set aside for scheduled gaming). Each of those tables is a round table that seats 7-8 people. There is also the RPG Room that has 6 round tables for scheduled RPG events. The 10 vendors are in the Main Hall along the walls. The Paint & Take is also in the Main Hall (free mini!). And of course, the Artemis game returns and is in its own room again (with an Open Gaming table or two in there as well).
7. Can someone buy a badge at the door if they don't have one yet?
Yes of course, and this year the price at the door will not be higher. So, $50 for the whole weekend or $25 for a single day pass.
